Established in 2000, Zhuhai Campus covers an area of 3,48 square kilometers. As one of the four campuses of Sun Yat-sen University, Zhuhai Campus is only one and a half hour’s drive from the other three campuses in Guangzhou (Canton). Located in the northern part of Zhuhai, this Campus enjoys massive opportunities offered by the special economic zone of Zhuhai and its close proximity to Macau and Hong-Kong.

Students of about 50 specialities from 13 schools and colleges study here. Zhuhai Campus is home to the Sino-French Institute of Nuclear Engineering and Technology (IFCEN), the School of International Studies, the School of Marine Sciences, the International Business School, the School of Mobile Information Engineering and the School of Tourism. Now there are about 9,000 students studying and living on Zhuhai Campus.
